He was a source of unwavering love and comfort, renowned for his gentle spirit and deep bond with his mother, Tracy Potter. Throughout his life, Spike's loyalty and devotion were evident; he found solace by her side every night, seamlessly following her from room to room, embodying the essence of a true companion.

During the trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Spike emerged as a beacon of hope and support for Tracy. His purrs and kneading on her chest offered warmth and reassurance, reminding her that she was never alone in those challenging moments. Spike not only provided emotional support during times of grief, following the losses of loved ones such as Derek, Stephanie, Grandma, and Grandpa, but he also celebrated the joys of everyday life alongside Tracy.
