Puto Spicer

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Puto on July 8, 2026, at the age of 12.

Puto came into his family's life in December 2015 when he was rescued from a shelter as a Christmas surprise for his soon to be owner, Hayven. From that day forward, he filled every home he entered with unconditional love, endless laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Puto shared his life with his devoted Memaw and Papa, Daina and Nelton, where he became a cherished member of the family. He loved spending his days playing with his favorite toys and making memories with his beloved dog cousins, Bullet and Elsa. His favorite pastime was a spirited game of "takeaway," proudly carrying off his toys and inviting everyone to join in the fun.

Anyone who knew Puto knew he had a personality all his own. He never missed the opportunity to remind everyone that he deserved the very last bite of every meal, often barking persistently until someone gave in. While his determination could be amusingly relentless, it was simply one of the many qualities that made him so incredibly lovable.

After the passing of his Papa, Puto faithfully watched over his Memaw with unwavering devotion. His protective nature was a beautiful reflection of the deep love and loyalty he carried in his heart, offering comfort and companionship when it was needed most.

Today, we find peace in knowing that Puto has been reunited with his Papa in Heaven, where they are together once again.

Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the joy, loyalty, and unconditional love Puto brought into our lives. His paw prints will remain on our hearts forever, and his memory will continue to bring smiles through the countless stories and treasured moments he leaves behind.

Puto, you will be missed by so many people.
