PD Snider

Dec 19, 2012 — Jun 18, 2026

PD, a beloved and fiercely loyal companion, left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. Born on December 19, 2012, PD’s journey began under challenging circumstances, found abandoned outside in the harshness of winter. Yet from that difficult start, he was embraced by his family, who showered him with love and care, giving him a home where he thrived.

Though the smallest of the pack, PD embodied the spirit of an alpha—his commanding presence ensured order among his siblings. Beneath that natural leadership lay a tender heart. Described fondly as a momma’s boy, from the very first day, PD was inseparable from his mother, often found sleeping by her side or cuddling up close for comfort. His devotion extended equally to his dad and family, as he relished moments of affection and togetherness.

PD’s playful nature was one of his most endearing traits. He delighted in romping around with his siblings, chewing on favorite bones, and basking in the simple pleasures of outdoor adventures and long walks. Though the thrill of car rides waned as he grew older, these little joys were woven into the fabric of his days. Visits with family and friends were treasured occasions, where his warmth and friendliness shone brightly.

More than just a cherished pet, PD imparted profound lessons to his family. He showed them that size is no measure of impact or significance. Despite his small stature, PD’s spirit and determination made a monumental difference, teaching those who loved him that courage and heart can transcend any limitation.

On June 18, 2026, PD Snider peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of loyalty, love, and unwavering devotion. His family mourns the loss of a companion who was truly a friend for life. PD will forever remain in their memories—an alpha with a gentle soul, whose story reminds us all that every life matters deeply, no matter how small.

A final message from his family:

PD, you helped open my eyes to so many things. Run free over that Rainbow Bridge Little Man! You brought over 13 years of love into our lives and really showed us that size doesn't matter. You were small but mighty, had a heart 20 times your size and always had a way of keeping the other dogs in line. Who knew that when we found you and no one wanted to claim you, would create such an unbreakable bond between all of us, including Parker. You were so loving and kind and gave the best snuggles. You stood 10 feet tall and wouldn't back down from anyone or anything. And, if you didn't like someone you'd show it by peeing on them, letting them know they weren't allowed in your circle. Rest Easy Little man, until we meet again. Go find Parker now and run free, find Uncle Craig to get those famous tummy tickles he would always give you. Love Daddy and Mommy
