Ernest "Ernie" Murray

Ernest “Ernie” was a gray tabby who joined his family five years ago after his previous owner passed away. Ernie was already a senior cat when they rescued him, and from the very beginning, he chose Chris as his person.

Ernie loved sleeping, eating snacks, and lying in the sun. His favorite place to sleep was in the window, where he could also spend time watching everything going on outside.

He could be a little grouchy at times and was naturally shy and timid, but he was also the most well-behaved boy. One of the things his family will always remember about him was his little meow. It sounded more like a bird chirping than a cat, and they always knew when it was Ernie.

His family is grateful they were able to give Ernie a home for the last five years of his life and, even more, that he became part of their family.

To their sweet Ernie, his family leaves one simple message: We love you, and we miss you.
