Buddy Darda

d. November 8, 2025

Eau Claire

It is with a heavy heart and a wagging tail that we announce the passing of our beloved Buddy Darda, who left us on November 8, 2025, at the age of 11. Born on May 30, 2014, Buddy was more than just a dog; he was the best friend and loyal companion every pup dreams of being.

Buddy was the epitome of a travel companion, a four-legged adventurer whose favorite place in the world was behind the wheel (or anywhere in the car, really!). Whether embarking on a quick trip to the local store or journeying to his treasured spots in Tennessee and Florida, Buddy lived for those car rides. He had a knack for making the most mundane trip feel like an exciting adventure. And who could forget his ambitious attempts to open the donut box during these outings? His love for donuts was only rivaled by his zest for life itself.

A dedicated member of the Darda family, Buddy’s love was unconditional. He brought joy not only to his mom, Susan Darda, but also to all those lucky enough to share a moment with him. His loyalty to his family was unwavering, and his presence was a constant source of happiness.

Outside of his adventures on the road, Buddy cherished playtime with his 8-year-old niece and nephew. He was particularly fond of squeaky toys, which he treated as treasures to be cherished (and sometimes mercilessly destroyed). Watching Buddy dash around, full of energy and joy, brought smiles to everyone around him.

As we bid farewell to this lovable soul, we hold onto the memories; his playful bounces, soft cuddles, and that joyful spark in his eyes. His spirit will forever roam the beaches of Venice, Florida, and the winding roads he loved so much. Buddy Darda, you were loved beyond measure and will be missed deeply. Thank you for showing us the beauty in car rides and the simple joy of a donut. Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge, our hearts will carry your spirit.
