Arashi Demott

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Arashi on July 18, 2026. Arashi was a sassy, loving, and playful dog who brought laughter and happiness wherever she went. Although she was a cherished member of her family for only three years, the love she shared made it feel as though she had been with them forever.

After being rescued from abusive previous owners, Arashi finally found the safe, loving home she had always deserved. With her family, she discovered what it truly meant to be loved, and in return, she gave her whole heart.

She found joy in life's simplest pleasures. Her favorite treat was McNuggets, and she loved spending time in the backyard hanging by her rope on the playset. Her beloved purple octopus was never far from her side, and she eagerly looked forward to walks, car rides to Grandma's house, and cozy nights tucked under the covers in her parents' bed.

One of the memories her family will treasure forever is the way Arashi would sit up on her hind legs and wrap her front paws around them in the sweetest hugs. It was her special way of reminding everyone just how deeply she loved them.

Though her time on earth was far too short, Arashi filled every day with joy, comfort, and unconditional love. She taught her family to slow down, treasure every moment, and appreciate the simple happiness found in everyday life.
